About our pastor
Rev. Robert Stamper is a dynamic and charismatic preacher who seeks to let the Holy Spirit lead and guide him not only in his sermons, but also in his connections and daily life. Ordained in 1998 at Gospel Community Church, he brings over 25 years of ministry experience to Faith UMC. In 2011, he was consecrated to the Episcopacy and consecrated a Bishop with the Global Alliance of Affirming Pentecostals.
Believing that we are Better Together, Pastor Rob continues to lead Faith UMC as an intentional, inclusive, and inspired community. He has a burden for those in the LGBTQIA+ community, and it is his heart that when the people at Faith UMC say "All are Welcome,". they truly mean ALL.
Pastor Stamper is the father of two exceptional children: Jaeceon, who is 9, and Jhaloni, who is 6. He co-parents his children with Eric Westrick. Currently, Pastor Stamper is a licensed Local Pastor in the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church.
